This is a fantastic product and does what it is supposed to do. I plugged it into my computer to track the tempo. I wish I understood that the HDMI was on the top and not the sides, so it was a bit difficult to manage the cable.

You don't get HD on this small screen, it's 800 x 480. But given the price you can't go wrong. It also works great with Raspberry Pi. with GPIO or USB power supply. I also used it to try some stuff on an Intel NUC running Windows 10 and it worked flawlessly. Perfect for small projects, good refresh rate and colors.

Good product, unfortunately the description is a bit off. I didn't have a touch stylus and knew it didn't come with a case, but the description says it does. All in all, not a bad product, but a bit off the mark. I don't use a touchscreen, but I tested it and it works.

Wish it had a different backing than the rack screws. I ended up cutting out the back of a flat tupperware container and just hot glued it to the back of the screen after masking it. The best glue I've used after many failed attempts to attach it to the back of the case frame has turned out to be epoxy for steel. Since then there have been no problems. The screen works right out of the box, the built in 40 pin GPIO header fits perfectly, comes with mounting hardware and even comes with installation instructions and all. That. However, the touchscreen feature does not work out of the box when using the official Pi OS and may not work at all with your OS and you may need to create your own drivers for it. and if you already have other pi modules or hats or anything else on the pi like a fan hat or breakout board etc then the mounting hardware…

I love this thing. Easy to install (plug and play) USB powered which is great! The screen quality is great, the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the screen doesn't turn off by itself or in sleep mode. Just turn on an extremely bright blue screen that disturbs you when you sleep next to a PC/monitor.
