Fenders need trimming to increase ground clearance.

Other reviewers have noted that these fenders do not have enough ground clearance. They are made of thermoplastic material which is quite tough. The guardrails have been trimmed to provide approximately 9-10 inches of ground clearance, which is slightly below the level of the OEM footpegs. To ease installation, an alignment tool was used to slightly open the spring clips. Protective covers can come out of the box for vehicles fitted with suspension raise kits.
