Review on πŸ”© Pennzoil Quart Fluid Transfer Pump by Black Croom

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Practical pump at a good price

My new Honda Ridgeline requires regular oil changes as well as rear differential oil which requires Honda VTM-4 (1 gallon) ATF (transmission fluid) which holds 3.5 liters. Replacement Honda DW-1 ATF fluid and a transfer case, which requires about Β½ quart of 75w90 gear oil. They are easier to refuel, especially the rear differential and transfer case, which require refueling under the car. It is very difficult to water something from below. Much easier to pump in the hole! Many liquids don't like to mix or get contaminated by other liquids, so I bought one of these pumps for every type of liquid I need to pump. change. I have three of these pumps! You could probably run some of the fluid you are changing through the pump first to remove the previously used fluid, but it can get dirty and then you will have to dispose of that fluid as well. The price of this pump was a dollar less than what I would pay a local home center, so it was worth having a few on hand. I label each with the liquid it's used for and when I'm done I store them all in a 5 gallon ice cream bucket in case liquid leaks from the pump or hoses while they're not in use.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
