I need lightweight gloves that offer good protection. It appears to be a very well made glove, the inside of the palm is fully leather and feels very durable and well made. It doesn't look like it will hurt very much, except obviously with an intentionally sharp object ie a knife, scissors, needle etc, but normal work and wear and tear isn't that great. From the outside, i.e. the upper part of the hand (not the palm), appears to be a very thin fabric. I'm sure someone has already said what this fabric is, but to be honest I'm worried that my skin and hand will hurt it when I'm wearing it. I want to do any job with this glove because literally moving files will break it or damage the glove and fabric. It seems to me that this is not a tactical glove but rather an elegant thin glove. I may be wrong but I'm trying to figure out if I can get this money back or trade it in for a better and stiffer glove. Update: Unfortunately the stitching on one of the thumbs has already come undone and the logo has already peeled off on the same glove. I really like these gloves but they are too thin.
