I'll be back to change my review. When they WORK they are big fans. Now BOTH are down and not working. The batteries are not replaceable so I now have $80 tied to 2 fans that don't work. In fact, I always kept them plugged into the mains so they wouldn't drain the batteries. You have to solve this problem. I read other reviews where people face the same problem. I wonder how many of the 5 stars just didn't come back to complain but are now having this problem. In fact, they only lasted about 2 months. At first I didn't live where it was kept, so it didn't make sense at the time. A little less than 2 months new. I have plug fans that I've had for 15 years and they still work. This is unacceptable. Now I have 2 of these, I really liked the first one and didn't want to lug it up and down all the time even though it's very light. It is silent, blows almost cold air, takes up little space, convenient, folds up and stores away for winter when not needed instead of traditional bulky fans. Not ideal for open spaces, but to have it right in front of you when you're sitting, sleeping, or working on your computer, so don't expect it to work in places like big, bulky fans.
