I installed this on my 2004 Trailblazer as the dashboard has been slow seppuku for two years! The speedometer was the main reason for buying it, but it's nice to have an idea of the temp, volts and RPM. The device sits behind the steering wheel next to the alarm button and is perfectly positioned for me to see. Plug it in, it takes a while to find the right log, and beep beep you're on! Same with engine off, beep-beep and off. Once plugged in and forgetting the cord, it just works. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that such a nifty button/slider at the top is very cheap. The right side stopped working immediately after I set up and started the unit and the bottom one made a crackling noise! Now I can't switch screens either, but I don't need to because everything works fine. Also, there is a very slight lag in the speedometer reading (rapid acceleration or deceleration), but this can only be an ODB port lag, not a unit of measure. I 'tested' it on those helpful 'Your Speed' signs and it was within a few miles - accurate enough for me!
