Bought for my 1997 Miata and so impressed I bought another one for my 2002 Nissan Xterra. I had to hook up the Miata One to my Xterra because it wouldn't connect to the Xterra: (I have the original Scan Guage II which I've used in my Xterra for years but it's big and bulky and I was looking forward to using it to use the smaller autool box.. ok - when connected it works great and makes an amazing display. it's disappointing, the compatibility seems very good or bad.

It reads some sensor data on my truck. But the engine temperature is 20 degrees Fahrenheit lower than the engine temperature gauge on the dash. No oil pressure, but oil temperature. The oil temp seems to read a much higher temperature than the IR thermometer. The speedometer is within reasonable limits of the GPS readings. But the odometer function is not correct. Good. One of the things I've always complained about with modern cars is the lack of instrumentation. Most new cars have minimal instrumentation and aren't much better than jerk lights. The main gauge I'm missing is a voltmeter. I want to have a good idea of the condition of my electrical system.
