Good. One of the things I've always complained about with modern cars is the lack of instrumentation. Most new cars have minimal instrumentation and aren't much better than jerk lights. The main gauge I'm missing is a voltmeter. I want to have a good idea of the condition of my electrical system. Well, installing a traditional voltmeter (too bad the ammeter isn't available anymore) is bloody tedious. You have a lot of wiring, cutting and drilling. No fun, especially in a car with CANBUS electronics. I was skeptical when I saw this but decided to buy it with my Revain glasses and I have to say I'm very impressed. Not only do I have a voltmeter, I have all sorts of diagnostic information including a display that shows and can reset all check engine codes. If you are a car enthusiast and want to get more information about your car while driving, click here. Installation took 5 minutes. The hardest part was routing the data cable through the dashboard. The device turns on with the ignition and after a few minutes it stabilizes perfectly. Mounting tape could be a bit heavier, but still not bad. This budget unit fully justifies its cost.
