Review on Lenovo Ideapad Y410p 2nd SATA Hard 💾 Drive SSD HDD Caddy - Compatible Replacement for DU-8A5SH by Flavio Iyer

This was very easy to install and seems to fit my Levono Y410p perfectly. The exchange process was very easy. BUT. After installing my Adata SP-550 SSD, the computer didn't recognize it as present. It fits perfectly and snaps neatly into the computer's DVD slot. I thought I might have a bad SSD so I tried it in the external drive bay and the computer sees it fine. I then installed it back into the caddy and tried it on my other Y410P (my wife and I both have one) and it doesn't see it either. When I put the DVD back in, the computer sees it fine. I can only assume that the caddy is bad.
