Review on Proto-Pasta - HTPC1705-BRO Proto-Pasta Composite Bronze HTPLA by Shahed Cleveland

Variable Filament Gauge

This is the only filament that got stuck in my PTFE tubing. I have a box that I install all my filaments in and run them through a PTFE teflon tube to my 3D printer. I use an all metal hot end which I also bought from MicroSwiss here at Revain. HOWEVER, this filament gets stuck in said tube from my dry box to my printer, I have to force the filament through the tube. 4 years of 3D printing and Proto-Pasta is the ONLY filament that got stuck in my PTFE tube due to Proto-Pasta's lack of quality control. At the price of this thread, such a thickness deviation is absolutely unacceptable! INADMISSIBLE! I removed the PTFE tubing for now, however since the tubing has been removed it is now more difficult to feed the filament into the machine even with the filament spool installed correctly. The filament itself is indeed magnetic, but my print quality will eventually suffer due to the mismatch between the filament and the way it is fed into my machine. This is my first time using proto pasta thread and it will probably be the last time I buy another proto pasta. The only reason I use this filament is because it is the only magnetized/iron filament I can find on Amazon and because I intend to use it for a project due to its magnetic properties. It is a pity that the thickness of the thread is unreliable.
