I unpacked it today and was very impressed with its sturdy construction. It looks and feels very durable and strong. I followed the instructions to set up my own combination and tested it out before connecting my laptop. It was difficult to fit into the laptop lock hole on my 2011 13" Macbook Pro. But in the end I managed to install it properly. However, after pulling to make sure it was secure, it tugged figured out. unlocking the device myself. I've tried setting it to my combination as well as the factory combination "0000". No joy. This great looking laptop lock now sits on my desk until I find another use for it find the cable loop I think I should have bought a Targus.
