Not exactly a replacement for a bulb WB08X10028

On a positive note the bulb fits and works with my GE Monogram hood. I really like LED bulbs over halogen bulbs as LED bulbs burn cooler in fixtures. Unfortunately, although the lamp is said to be dimmable, there is no difference in brightness when you select the low and high light setting on the hood. My biggest disappointment is the lightweight appearance. The packaging says the light is equivalent to warm white halogen light 2700, the light is brighter white 3000+.
