Review on 📺 DIRECTV RC65RX RC65R Replacement IR Remote Control – 4-Device LCD LED HDTV Plasma TV TVs A/V Receiver by Yasmine Sepulveda

The dog chewed off the battery cover and component switch on an old identical remote that still worked but needed replacing so I ordered it here. This was for my living room. He arrived a few days later. Looks great, the DirectV light on the end of the remote comes on but the receiver doesn't respond. Tried restarting the receiver, still nothing. Tried new batteries. Nothing yet. It works in the master bedroom for its receiver but not in the living room where I wanted to use it for the RF function. I'll leave it at an expensive IR model but it's useless for the purpose it was bought for and not worth the hassle. and return costs. EDIT: After contacting the wonderful Directv customer service they got the TV working in the living room in 10 minutes. This should have been the first instruction as the rep said owners of Geni DVR receivers almost always have to go through additional steps to get it working. One star deducted for personal effort, not listed in the instructions.
