I like this light, it flashes while driving. It turns off automatically when I stop the bike. It gets very bright when I slow down to warn the cyclist behind me on the speed line, but I didn't put the light in with a switch and OFF. I mean when I put my bike on the bike rack to go home after my ride, the light flashes the whole time. I tried turning it off by pressing the middle button, but it only turns off when it's still. It needs an off button so it doesn't blink when you carry your bike in the back of the car. Regardless, this flashlight has incredible battery life. It is very bright, automatically recognizes day and night and adjusts the brightness of the light accordingly. He just needs a way to completely turn off the light to be perfect.
