Review on NiteRider Commuter Helmet Mount Cordless by Joseph Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Heavy Duty Straps/Easy Positioning

I've been reading all the reviews for the past few days and finally met someone who actually has a helmet strap. He's on a mountain bike and mostly rides a track so he shakes a lot. He never had any issues with play, positioning etc. I asked if I could take it off his helmet and really have a look at the attachment system. The straps are strong and the attachment system is solid and locks the mount securely to the helmet. The base of the mount is made of thick rubber that follows the shape of the top of each helmet. Although I have a standard clamp, I find the versatility of mounting a helmet lamp superior to a 'static' handlebar mounted system. Also, you don't have to remove the clip from one bike and install it on another. I'll post back a little to give you some final comments! Drive safe! UPDATE: It's been a long time since I wrote my first review and I can honestly say I really like this helmet mount. There are no signs of wear or wear on the straps. The rubber is durable and shows no signs of wear. I keep it out of the sun when not in use and use a zip pocket when not in use for a long time. Based on this empirical review, it's time to buy this mount!
