Works on my Giro Animas

Love that you can easily tweak it to get it right. Hopefully this works at night on a mountain bike trail. I have a Giro Animas and it only fits really well in one spot with the double strap.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Secure helmet mount for NightRider lights

Allows you to mount the NightRider light on your helmet. It looks a little silly, but it keeps the light on. My wife and I have two different types of helmets. It worked fine for both of them. Having a helmet-mounted flashlight was new to me. I found this really helps when shooting because the light naturally follows your gaze. I still have the light on the steering wheel because I love redundancy.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Minor issues

I liked the product but felt a bit cheap as the mount was a little flimsy than expected. The plastic splint isn't as strong as we'd like, but it gets the job done. There is no clear click when installing the block, so care must be taken not to slip the block. Again, since there's no positive feedback when a slide is clicked, don't assume the device is reliable. The worst can happen when you are driving and the device flies away and bounces all over the road.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Nothing

Good product!

I literally couldn't get enough of this mount. It attaches easily to my Giro Feature helmet, stays in place and holds the Lumina 750 exactly as it should. I love that the angle of the mount can be adjusted to bring the beam closer or farther from the front of the bike depending on where you're riding and where you want the light to fall. This mount has made me a much more confident driver when driving at night as my light now shines exactly where I'm looking and not where my steering wheel is…

doesn't hold the light in place

I love my nitration lights, I have several including Lumina. However, this helmet mount is useless. The straps that attach the mount to the helmet are fine, but the adjustable mount that holds the flashlight keeps shifting, even with small bumps. On a night descent on a moderate trail, I had to reset the light for every little bump. I have tightened the adjustment screw but to no avail. This product may be suitable for tarmac driving but I didn't buy it for that. I switched to the GoPro helmet…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Summary: Great accessory for the NiteRider 750 headlight; mounted on a Schwinn Thrasher helmet. Good: - Light and comfortable, no sharp edges. - Securely attaches the NiteRider 750 headlight to your helmet. - Adjustable up and down the vertical axis. Bad: - I didn't find any problems. with the quality of this product. Other thoughts: - I have fitted a NiteRider Lumina 750 headlight to this strap which works great and keeps this expensive item secure. - I attached this strap to a black/grey…

Heavy Duty Straps/Easy Positioning

I've been reading all the reviews for the past few days and finally met someone who actually has a helmet strap. He's on a mountain bike and mostly rides a track so he shakes a lot. He never had any issues with play, positioning etc. I asked if I could take it off his helmet and really have a look at the attachment system. The straps are strong and the attachment system is solid and locks the mount securely to the helmet. The base of the mount is made of thick rubber that follows the shape of…

  • Absolutely Amazing!

nice way to mount a flashlight

Bought to install MiNewt 150 on my helmet and so far it works fine. It's some kind of mount with tubular rubber under the plastic foot/support so it doesn't slide on the helmet. I've had it for about 2-3 weeks now so can't comment on durability but it has the same quick release mount as the handlebar mount that came with the 150. It tilts back and forth but not side to side. Side. -Side. I use it with a Bell Road helmet and have had no trouble getting it right in the middle - as long as you…
