Whoever wrote and designed the installation instructions must have been drunk or blind. It's absolutely awful and very inconsistent step by step to the point where it doesn't make any sense anymore. I'm a very tech savvy and mechanical person and literally cursed my way through this installation process. The illustrations are professionally drawn but change randomly step by step. It seems that no one has read them from the manufacturer. After an unnecessarily long installation, the lift works perfectly. Note: The wood screws provided will most likely penetrate the OSB covering you have and will need to be sanded before you can move the mattress. otherwise you tear the mattress.
