This scanner works very well. I've been a mechanic for many years and have worked a lot with scanners. This scanner does more than the average user will ever need. I'm impressed at this price point by how much it will do. from engine code to body code. enables testing of individual components. I like the component search on the screen, it makes it easier to find sensors when working on unfamiliar vehicles. The best thing about this scanner is the free lifetime software updates. Anyone who uses them professionally knows that software updates cost a small fortune and are constantly needed to keep up with current cars. I have used this scanner a few times since buying it from different manufacturers and it has worked well. It was easy to set up, just follow the on-screen instructions when you turn it on for the first time. I love the fact that you can choose which manufacturers you want to load when upgrading. Overall, I recommend this scanner to anyone who needs a bi-directional scanner instead of a basic code reader. If you take the time to learn all the features of this scanner, you won't be disappointed.
