I bought one of these cases and wanted to make a server out of it. After installing it in my living room, I liked how quiet it was compared to my old system. With that in mind, I decided to leave it where it was and buy another case to serve as a server. This is a stylish case with good functionality. It comes with 10 compartments. (4) 5.25 inches. Bays and (6) 3.5" bays. On the front is a fold-out panel with two USB ports and one FireWire port if your motherboard allows it. There are also the usual LED indicators on the front, with two additional indicators for multiple drives. Antec's 400W PSU is enough to meet most performance needs and is fairly quiet for two fans. The case itself isn't that loud considering it has two dedicated fans on the back and two more can be mounted on the front. I added two fans to cool the hard drive on the server and now it's not so quiet. (Price you pay to be cool) Two hard cages are easy to remove. Pull back the latch, and then pull out the drive bays. Just like this one. The 5.25-inch drive bays use rails that screw onto the drives and then snap into the chassis. 3.25 inch drives use screws that attach to the drive bays. One of these cages has a fan mount to cool the hard drive. Since I was using a 4 drive RAID, I wanted all four drives to be cooled. I was able to replace the fan bracket drive bay from another case and move the floppy drive to a 5.25" slot. For others who want to cool both hard drive bays, you may need to order the bay from Antec or use a couple of 5.25" slots with hard drive coolers. This case costs a few dollars more than the standard no-name computer show. but you know where the money went when you start working with it. There is plenty of space to work. (Support full ATX boards) Installed four 80mm fans between chassis and PSU. Ten drive bays allow you to significantly expand your system. 400 watts of juice and good style are the final bonus points that make this case a worthwhile investment. I have a feeling this case will outlast a few motherboards for me.
