Long range, excellent clear picture HD
This thing works like a charm. I have a lot of channels and they look great. Sometimes there are pixels on some channels but I don't usually watch them. Anyway, there is no setting. We plug into the outlet, we connect to the TV. And old. I hooked this up to the TV in my living room (downstairs center of my house). The signal has to pass through multiple walls in each direction, so I wasn't expecting much. It looks like a cable (our directv installer thought it was a cable). Either way, I highly recommend it.
