After Apple's latest iOS 11.1 update, iPad Pro won't charge while you're using it (as long as the keyboard is connected via SmartConnector). This severely limits its usefulness. With the keyboard closed, it will charge normally, but as soon as you put it in the working position, the charging process will be switched off. If you turn it off and on again, it will briefly start charging and then stop. This has been a great keyboard for me for 2 years. Protects the iPad well, it is durable and very useful. In the beginning I read about possible screen damage so I just received a screen protector and have no screen damage. However, the inability to charge the device while in use severely limits its usefulness, and I wouldn't buy this device until Logitech fixes the compatibility issue preventing it from working with the iPad Pro. I should mention that my Create keyboard is hardware version 1, firmware version 09.00.0023. If there is a firmware update for this that can solve the problem, then I haven't found it anywhere.
