I bought a 2006 Honda Metro with over 10,300 miles and it ran very slow/crappy, backfired on deceleration, had delayed throttle response and kept working . goes out at idle if not warmed up. This, along with a knock-off Honda fuel filter, a Lowes Briggs and Stratton lawnmower air filter, an NGK Iridium spark plug, a Royal Purple oil change and half a bottle of Sea Foam treatment certainly got my Metro running A1 ! All stock, no mods or anything, I got to just over 40 with no setbacks, I had quicker throttle response and was able to consistently hit 25-30mph on steep hills compared to 15-20mph when I bought it. Hope this thing holds up! Definitely a bargain for the price compared to the OEM! Update: Bought around July 2018 then started ticking like a time bomb, died on me and left me stuck on April 4th 2019. Not even a year has passed. I bought an OEM (cheaper and got to me from ebay in 2 days) and the scooter ran 2 times smoother. Buy original OEM for $60 on ebay. The most positive thing I can say is that you can keep it as a spare if your fuel pump ever fails. Doubt it with OEM for the next 10,000 miles.
