Installed on a 2008 XR650L. It seems to work "sharper" with a bit more power, but after turning the engine off for a few seconds it won't start until I turn the key and turn it back on. Then started immediately. Happened twice. Last time I drove it it started but wouldn't go past idle. I turned the key off and on again and then it went fine. I carry a spare just in case.
