This device could be perfect, but a few things are preventing it from realizing its full potential. Most annoying is that some ports are crooked. I returned and reordered one unit and the second one also has slightly crooked connections. especially the PD/100W port is a bit crooked. this seems to work, but it's a little worrying. Maybe I was unlucky, but it may not be the case with other units. The next problem is that the write speed on the SSD reaches 600MB (Samsung 980). This isn't a problem for me, but it may be a problem for others. The description is misleading in that it claims 10Gb/s when in fact it doesn't come close to 10Gb/s. However, I recommend this device because it's slim, has all the ports I need, is reasonably priced, and doesn't have many alternatives.
