This set has been packaged in a very elegant and sturdy box (in Revain packaging). Everything was packed very tightly, so there was practically no room to scatter during transport. This isn't the first item I've ordered from Vremi and they seem to enjoy taking the extra step to make their product stand out from the rest. Measuring Spoons: Although they are plastic, they appear to be very durable. I haven't had any issues with bending or breaking (not that I would necessarily use them for anything heavy, but they seem to be more durable than other plastic measuring scoops I have). My only major criticism is that the 1/2 tablespoon and 1 tablespoon dimensions do not fit in a standard spice bottle (see image). No one wants to pour spices into a spoon and spill a bunch in the process. However, I see that this is only an issue with dry items. I don't know if any liquids will have the same problem. Each scoop is also marked in milliliters and grams (see image). Measuring cup: The cup itself feels sturdy, but the flimsy handles bother me. I've used it to scoop brown sugar (the hardest food I can think of, which I often use measuring cups for) and the handle isn't broken, but I'm wondering if they'll come loose over time.. HOWEVER for now they seem to be doing their job very well. I like that they nest inside each other and don't take up much space. The inside of the cups have a textured finish which I assume helps so that not much food sticks to the inside when pouring, but since I haven't noticed anything sticking it might just be a design that does that company has chosen. I'm not a fan of the measurements only being engraved on the bottom of each cup (see picture). I'd rather see them on the handlebars so I don't have to take them all apart to look at the underside to find the size I need. Each measuring cup also has milliliter indications (see picture). Bowls: A yellow bowl with spout is a nice little bowl. Filling lines are printed on the inside. I've included a heavily edited fill line image - since it's difficult to capture the engraved lines on yellow, I had to play with the colors to make them appear in the image. I still haven't found a use for these lines, but I'm looking forward to the day I find out what I need them for! The screen is flexible and probably made of soft plastic/nylon. This is a plus as it won't rust in the dishwasher like some metal filters do. My only complaint about this colander is that the underside of the rim (see picture) holds some water when washed in the dishwasher. The blue strainer is a good standard item, not much to say about that. I like the side of the red bowl and the fact that it has a non-slip rubber insert at the bottom (see picture). The box was the only place to mention if the food was dishwasher and microwave safe. , except for the red bowl, which has a dishwasher-safe symbol engraved on the bottom. Even the dishwashing water/microwave information on the packaging was under a sticker so I had to look for it (see picture). All in all, this is a great basic set at a great price. This would be great for a college student, a couple moving in first, or even someone who just loves to have an extra set of these items (because anyone who cooks or bakes regularly knows you do really can't I've way too many of these bowls and measuring utensils!). I love the colors in this set. While it's not the best set, I think it's one of the best options in its category. Edit: I had to deduct a star because of the measuring spoons. Even with hand washing, the dimensions of the spoons have worn down, making them almost completely useless. (see image)
