This is a great example of how a customer can judge a product based on easy (right or wrong).

Strong feeling that I would never recommend this product. This is a prime example of how a customer can easily judge (right or wrong) a product based on the first presentation. I am returning this product without ever trying to use it. I opened the package and took out the wooden "organizer" box that contained the beats. One of the two very cheap lid latches was bent and didn't work. Not the end of the world, a simple fix with better hardware if chosen. Subject to the original intent of what I get in this box. Unfortunately, my hesitation was correct. When the box was opened all parts were in order. A complete mess piled up at one end of the box and the parts look unkempt since production. This was my last straw, it doesn't provide you with the description on the website or even on the box that the product is packaged in by the manufacturer. The box indicates the bit sizes: 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 36, 40 and 50 mm. True, it has bits 10, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 25, 26, 28, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50mm. I was specifically looking for a 14mm bit and was hoping to get a full set when I bought the bit, but have come to the conclusion that there is no set of quality Forstner Metric bits that I have found have. So I am returning this set for a refund and to purchase Lee Valley Tools for a separate company, forstner bit.a, which I know respects quality based on my past experience. Save your money and buy quality bits individually in the sizes you need. There's nothing in metric sizes that's worth the hassle when it comes to a complete set. (Different scenario for standard sizes).

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
