If you work on your Japanese motorcycle or any other Japanese car, then JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) screwdrivers are simply a MUST because they are designed to install properly in the heads of the Phillips screws they use during production. If you try to use American standard screwdrivers on JIS screw heads, you will most likely snap them off before you can remove very tight or stubborn screws. Spend the money on the right set of JIS screwdrivers. My research eventually led me to the conclusion that Vessel brand screwdrivers are the best on the market. I bought the complete set and I like it very much. I was finally able to get all those stubborn screws out of my Suzuki's 20 year old carburetors. It's not the cheapest on the market, but it's worth every penny. Quality tools are the most important thing when working on a project. Saves a lot of extra work and frustration by having the right mechanical tools on hand!
