Very disappointing. It has a sealed molded plug so I never thought to check continuity. I installed and secured the entire wiring harness to the trailer but only the left side worked. I assumed I had broken a wire or shorted something out, but after troubleshooting I found not one, but TWO bad contacts in the molded plug. I ended up cutting it off and replacing it with a plug I bought from Auto Zone. It would have been a major hassle to remove the wiring from the trailer and besides I had to use it. But I ended up in the trailer pigtail with four butt joints built in. Sloppy. Eventually I will change the straps again, but so far it has been very disappointing, plus it was a waste of time.
