Review on 🚗 Raybestos Magnetic Transmission Steering System by Michael Boyle

This is a plastic canister with little or no filter back pressure. I used it on my 2010 Acura TSX 2.4L, Auto 5 speed transmission. The manufacturer never recommends changing this filter. The OEM I removed from the car had quite a bit of resistance and only leaked in one direction. This filter made in China (not Australia as stated in customer reviews) had no back pressure to liquid flow in any direction. It worries me a little that it's completely passive except for the magnet. In this case, it's not exactly a pre-filter. There must be a non-return valve to stop backflow or a bypass valve (which is specified) in case the filter media fills up. After 6 months, I will update the performance of this device by opening it.
