I got these for my autistic 9 yr old. He loves spelling words but writes very slowly. This way he can quickly pick and replace letters. It's great for practicing how to spell words or leaving little refrigerator notes. These r not like the old plastic letter magnets we all used. These r thinner and the entire back is covered in a magnet. We use these on our magnetic dry erase board.
