The program itself is fairly intuitive but can be hard to figure out if it takes into account complex structures like sinuses. Sometimes when you place a screw there are holes but you cant see them. XELIS also uses different views than traditional DICOM or CT. I use this program frequently for surgical planning and implant placement. It has allowed me to get multiple angles of an exam which help me make accurate decisions faster. Being able to have 3 dimensional representations of everything is really helpful especially for complicated cases when placing implants. I like how easy it is to use, and how powerful it is. The features are very useful, and the program is easy to learn. There is nothing I dislike about this program. I would recommend Xelis to all dentists who want to be able to perform accurate implant placement. I have found this program to be effective in providing accurate information regarding my patients' implants.
