This robust and durable thermometer is ideal for every application. The temperature readings are accurate and well suited for multiple purposes. I mainly use it to target my radiator and control the temperature in my aquarium. It may not work accurately for reading human body temperature, but I see it has a ton of other uses. Quick tip: Optimal readings are taken at a distance of a foot or less when you focus on one point. However, long distance measurements seem to be accurate if you aim the laser beam at a large enough area such as a wall, ceiling, window, etc. The high-quality workmanship works as advertised. They even came with batteries, which is unusual these days. I highly recommend this item for its intended purpose and also because it is very fun to play with.
