I'm in love with this board! It arrived in perfect condition and is ready to use. I take VERY good care of my kitchen, and apart from my usual weekly chalkboard and dishwashing oil routine, it doesn't require much maintenance. I spend most of the day cooking for myself, my mom and my dogs (yes, really). I was about to order a Boos board and opted for this one instead and I'm SO HAPPY I did! It's beautiful and multifunctional. I make a sausage board for breakfast and lunch a few times a week and the cracker holder is perfect! It is also excellent for baguette slices. The grooves on the threaded side are deep enough to hold the juices of a 5 pound chicken without running into them. It's big enough to hold a smaller turkey. This is truly a three-in-one board (cutting/preparing, slicing, serving). "Handles" built into the sides make it easy to move the board from counter to table or bar. I have used acacia wood for many years and prefer it to other woods in the kitchen. It arrived so well packaged, lots of foam and a nice box. Don't worry about it being broken in transit, and the box is good enough to give as a gift.
