The thickness actually creates a great visual impact when used as a serving platter

As soon as you open the box you know this is a quality product. It has some weight so it doesn't feel fragile, but it's light enough not to be a burden to carry groceries on. Really wanted to love this board. Came in a nice box, looks great, the color of the wood is beautiful. So it's good if you want to use it for demonstration and reporting purposes ONLY. As a cutting board? no The wood is so soft that it flakes off. There is a small dent after accidentally hitting it on a countertop while washing in the sink. Don't let me use a regular (non-serrated) kitchen knife for this. I've only used it to chop garlic and some veggies and only used it 3-4 times and it's…

The company got it right

I bought this for my wife for Christmas, also a cutting board conditioner. After conditioning she has used it to chop up cabbage several times and after just one use the wood looked awful, not to mention it also splintered and a piece broke off. This is completely ridiculous as we have had incredibly cheap cutting boards for years and this has never happened before. Nice and environmentally friendly

I never write reviews. I hate writing reviews but I feel obligated. We love throwing dinner parties, so I was looking for a versatile cutting board that I could use to chop and flip dinner veggies to make sausage for guests. I've been looking and trying to find a cutting board for my culinary needs for a while now. Then I came across this cutting board from Sonder LA. Here's the thing: cutting boards are good. You can use them to cut things. Wow. My wife bought me this for Christmas because she probably thinks I love cutting boards? Better than boo! three in one

I'm in love with this board! It arrived in perfect condition and is ready to use. I take VERY good care of my kitchen, and apart from my usual weekly chalkboard and dishwashing oil routine, it doesn't require much maintenance. I purchased this attractive cutting board on 16th October 2018 and was impressed with the product, design and packaging. I only used the cutting board once and then washed it very gently according to the product instructions. Today, November 8th, 2018, about 3 weeks after receipt, I noticed a very unsightly crack (picture attached) that had developed between two boards.
