Review on PetSafe Happy Ride Dog Barrier - Front Seat Barrier for Cars, Trucks, and SUVs by Walter Hunter

Working but has minor issues

At first I was very hesitant to order this. I had some friends who had a similar product and it worked for them, but my dog was a bit nervous in the car and I figured he'd find a way around it. was i right Yes and no. If the barrier is adjusted correctly, it stays in the back seat. It helps me focus on driving, keeps them on the seat cover, keeps my other passengers from dog hair when they get in my car, and helps protect them. However, the barrier weakens over time, and twice my dog found it loose enough to slide under and into the front seat. As you can imagine, this is extremely distracting, although she enjoys it immensely. So you should check every week or so to see if it's still tight. Installation was easy enough, but it's not something you'll want to do often. You can take it off pretty easily if you need to, but it takes so long you don't want to do it unless you have to. It's also a little OCD related thing, but the vertical bar on mine is crooked. It doesn't look like it should in the photos so I'm pretty sure it's a slight manufacturer's fault on mine, but it's driving me towards a little OCD. I needed to use it right away so I didn't send it back. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't need to use the back seat regularly (except with a dog).

Cons
