From Los Angeles to Kentucky, through sun and tide - a spotless job

I was hesitant to purchase this product due to some bad reviews. When I researched the products I found that ALL have bad reviews because some of our brothers just can't be satisfied. , to lamps and electronics. I found it easy to tie down and was fairly confident that I had done a good job securing ALL the attached straps to my roof rack. The land journey had begun and I was nervous as I made my way across the desert to Las Vegas. . I usually have a heavy foot but I tried to restrain myself knowing my gear on the roof. Still, I hit the 90s with strong winds several times. I have a sunroof so I could occasionally look up and back at the bag, each time it seemed to be stuck and not moving at all. However, I was nervous because of some of the bad reviews I read. I picked up a friend at McCarren Airport in Vegas and we drove north through Arizona and Utah, stopping at national parks along the way. A couple of times the extra length of the straps fell out of the lining I used to tuck under my bag, but other than that they wouldn't budge, rip, or tear. On the way to Denver through the Rocky Mountains we got the first rain, but still a little rain. I started thinking about these reviews again and wondered what was going on upstairs but I couldn't help it so I just kept driving. We spent the night in Denver and I didn't dare open the bag because I couldn't do anything again. I would wait until Kentucky to see what happens. As we entered the Great Plains we encountered the most ridiculous weather I have ever ridden in and it took 4 hours for the storm to follow us. Strong strong wind and rain, in fact we saw two tractor trailers overturn in the middle, as well as one trailer. I'll tell you I felt like I was riding through a hurricane and I was certain this bag just wasn't going to stay dry. (There were signs 200 miles away that severe weather was coming.) A few days later I arrived in Lexington, Kentucky and began unloading. The bag had no tears, it was just as tight as it was when I left LA AND to my surprise, amazement and delight it was COMPLETELY dry inside. I hope this inspires confidence for those who read bad reviews like me, it was hard to make a choice. In my case the bag was fantastic and I saved it for another future use. Good Trip!
