Review on Corsair iCUE 220T RGB Airflow Mid-Tower Smart Case with Tempered Glass, White by Scott Clark

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost Perfect (RAM to GPU gap issues)

Good:1. Reliable build quality 2. Excellent airflow (with the metal grille removed) 3. Comes with good RGB fans, quiet and powerful to blow air4. I managed to squeeze 2 x 120mm aio into the case. GPU at the back and CPU at the top.5. Excellent cable management and good location in the basement6. The front intake filter works. While the minimum amount of dust7. Not a fan of iCue software, but the integration of RGB fans, keyboard and mouse is good.8. High quality tempered glass. Transparent and thick.9. Small footprint but enough space (when the air is cool) Ugly: 1. Issue with clearing RAM if you want to put AIO on top. I ended up using HyperX Fury RAM instead of Corsair RGB pro.2. There is no vertical GPU option. So I used the Phanteks.3 vertical mount. GPU release. If you have a long GPU, don't wait for the AIO bracket in front.4. The I/O panel cables somewhat block the placement of the heatsink. You can't move the heatsink far forward as there are front I/O cables. I double it to fit 360mm radiator.5. The tempered glass panel is easy to remove and install. It is attached with 4 thumbscrews and will not be held until you screw the screw in.6. The front metal grille blocks the airflow too much. The difference is 3 degrees Celsius.7. Honeycomb ventilation can be more.8. The front fan rails are fixed. You can't set the position of the fan, only the fan numbers.9. If you need an additional Corsair RGB fan, it will be expensive. Overall I like this case. Nicely built and good airflow. I wish I had known about the RAM and heatsink issues before I bought it. Maybe I chose 465x or 680x.

Pros
  • Light up your PC with three included Corsair SP120 RGB Pro fans, each with eight individually addressable LEDs around the hub (24 total).
Cons
  • Nothing here
