I like a shorter leash so I can better control my dog when we go for a walk. He has problems with strange dogs because he is blind. He was a little scared of the leash. If he wasn't on a leash, the same dog he barked and pounced on would be playing with him. That 2 foot lead gives me more control than his normal 6 foot lead which makes me feel more comfortable. Plus it keeps him close to me when we're walking. The material feels comfortable. It doesn't hurt my hands like a 6ft leash when he pulls or just walks. Long enough for him to let go of the leash and still sniff the ground if he wants to. Overall I highly recommend this, especially if you need more control over your dog on walks or just don't want all that extra leash.
