They are thick, soft, stain-resistant and absorbent. I bought these for a toddler so I removed the name tag. The name tag is scratched. They are very pretty with fun baby patterns, but I wouldn't use them in school lunch boxes. Young children don't typically use wipes when parents aren't watching, they tend to lose things, and replacing wipes can get expensive. They wash and dry well, but don't crease completely after drying.
