This switch does exactly what it was designed to do. This is a managed L2 switch (NOT a managed L3 switch, there is a HUGE difference). With this L2 MANAGED SWITCH you can perform VLAN tagging (see picture), link aggregation (LAG), POE input (as power supply) and 24V POE output. I supply it via the POE input of a separate POE switch. I haven't needed a 24V POE output yet. People complain that this POE output doesn't work properly. This is because they use devices that should NOT use 24V POE. Many (not all) cameras and access points require POE options that are incompatible with this type of POE signal. So do your research and make sure any device you want to power must use 24V POE. I have access points that use 24V POE and access points that use 802.3af. I can use this device with 24V POE access points. And the L2 capabilities allow me to tag VLAN traffic appropriately for different WiFi SSIDs. You can use UNMS to manage this switch like I did, or you can manage it through the browser's own GUI (see image). Firmware updates were easy and there were no problems again with UNMS.
