I've tried an incredible number of styling products over the years and my closet shelf is full of them. But I honestly get the best hair of my life with this clay pomade. However, it took a few tries to use it properly. The first time I used too much, at least double what I needed, and didn't emulsify (warm up) enough in my hands. You really need to warm it up until your hands are hot. I mostly let my hair air dry and apply the product when it's still slightly damp and not 100% dry. If you use too much, you will notice and the next day you will have a hard time washing it off with shampoo. I wrote it off then tried again and am very glad I did. Using about half a pea sized amount is good for my medium length hair. My hair doesn't look like it has a sticky product, it's natural and shiny. It's truly amazing and I've stopped trying other products forever.
