The product is very moisturizing and smells divine. The only problem I've found is that since the product is very moisturizing my roots look greasy between washes while the rest of my hair looks great. I have very thick wavy Middle Eastern hair so this might be an issue for my hair type. I definitely recommend getting a brush before shampooing to really clean your scalp and try to remove any extra or hidden flakes. Then use this shampoo, rub it in very well and be sure to rinse, rinse, rinse! Then you are ready for the next step in hair care. My hairstylist taught me the process and thanks to her recommendation and this product I have seen fantastic results. No more embarrassing "snowy" hair!
