Review on πŸ’‘ High-Quality WINDOW MASTER SWITCH for 2007-2012 Nissan Altima by SWITCHDOCTOR by Brant Skogen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Absolutely perfect! The switch works like the old one! From the mailbox to Miller Time in five minutes!

Absolutely perfect! I bought this to replace the master window switch on my 2008 Altima SE which after years of reliable service decided it had had enough and was headed for the big car door in the sky. In my version, both front windows automatically go down, so make sure you buy the right switch. I watched a short university YouTube video that explained how to turn it off and replace it in less than five minutes. Removed the door armrest (it's just clips), the control panel pad pops out with no problem, removed the power window and door lock wiring harness, unplugged the old switch from the pad, put the new switch in place, plugged the wiring harnesses back in, panel cover back, armrests back, and also tested all switches and door locks. everything works as it should (including the two front windows that automatically close) and it fits perfectly. Make sure when you're pushing this stuff out that you use a panel push tool (I'm sure Revain have kits here that come in handy for stuff like this, I got mine from an auto parts store a long time ago) or duct tape flat a screwdriver with tape on the end so as not to damage the interior. I called my local Nissan dealer and it would cost almost $500 a day between parts and labor to replace it and install a Nissan OEM switch. It's up to you, but on a 10 year old car with over $450 I have more important things to do. dollars, and SwitchDoctor does the same.
