Review on 📼 Philips 1080p Upscaling DVDR/VCR Combo with Built-In Tuner - Model DVDR3545V/37 by Sean Maples

I bought this for my parents whose analog VCR will soon stop receiving a signal. The setup screens look easy to use. In fact, it looks just like our Toshiba DR560 1080p upconverted DVD recorder with built-in tuner. They are probably using the same software provider. The tuner is digital but not HD. The picture it sends to its HDMI output is lower resolution than the TV tuner. This is understandable since the DVD standard is not HD. My parents are satisfied with the picture quality. It's much better than the old analog VCR. But after a month, my mom still hadn't learned how to program it. My son has to walk them up the steps. Somehow it seems more complicated than a VCR. We encountered a negative moment. For reasons unknown, his watch went back about 3.5 hours twice. When I first noticed it, we just put it back on. Slowed down again today. I have now disabled the automatic clock setting feature. I hope this will keep him from giving weird signals. Stay with us.
