First of all, this is not to help you get electricity. I see several reviews from people complaining about the lack of performance gain. Second, if you hear a whistle, you probably didn't install it properly. Finally, if you don't see an increase in fuel consumption per gallon, you're probably ahead. My tests were conducted under normal city and highway conditions, mostly within speed limits. I've seen a 2mpg increase within 900 miles of driving. The lower right side of the photos shows the average usage per gallon. Before I installed this gasket I got 18.1 mpg. After installing the spacer, I now have 18.7. I've ridden about 400 miles with the spacer installed so far. I will report when I am about 1000 km away. So far I am satisfied with the purchase. Every petrol saved is money earned. *Update* I've driven just over 900 miles since installing the spacer and have burned an average of 2 MPG more. That's a big win for the 5.7-liter V8 Ram 1500.
