This was really helpful for checking my GH/KH levels. The GH test in particular came in handy when I raised the GH a bit for my snails and mollies. I know some have said the colors are hard to tell apart. I didn't think that was true. The colors are fairly bright, but as long as the tube is on a white background it's pretty clear whether the GH is pale green or pale orange and the KH is blue or yellow. If you're mildly color blind, this can be quite difficult. In a titration test, you typically add a drop, shake it, and look at the color. Repeat until it changes and count the drops. This is normal for me, but if you have a very high hardness it may take a while for the test to run. My faucet is 7 dGH and 5 dKH and I increase my GH to 10. 10 drops doesn't last too long.
