Figure skating is like wearing clouds on your feet. They are super comfy. I'd say they're a size and a half too big for me, but I wear 2 pairs of thick socks and that helps. I'd rather have them too big than too small, so it doesn't bother me. I have a wide foot and it hasn't caused me any discomfort. There's nothing worse than a sore leg when you're learning to skate and need some stamina. That's great! For a beginner skater they are perfect and I would highly recommend them. Stick to your normal shoe size and you'll be fine. I ordered but was able to easily keep my usual size and feel comfortable.
