I have a project with almost 500 hundreds of LEDs that require thousands of connections. The difference between Kester solder and cheaper Chinese solder is obvious. Cheap solder was more difficult to work with and left butt joints. The Kester solder was much easier to work with, flowed more easily and left bright, shiny connections even after reflow. I remember using this solder decades ago and forgetting about it. Now that I've gotten back to my passion for electronics, using this solder is a must. Spend the extra money on this solder, your job will be faster and easier and you won't be disappointed.
