We have used this pan at least once a day since it arrived in July of this year. Great non-stick surface for everything from eggs to steaks. Cleans like the wind. However, when trying to keep the outside clean = removing dark spots, the red layer begins to peel off, which is a little disappointing but not disastrous. Planned to buy it for a few people as a gift but after about 4 months of use there seem to be a few "hot spots" and the surface that just needed to be wiped with a paper towel after use starts to get food/gravy to have . / Ovary in a few central areas. The dollar price is great ONLY if it keeps its good nonstick quality for more than 4-5 months. However, we really started with the love of cooking everything in this pan! What is the expected lifespan of this pan? Of course, the waiting time is MUCH longer than 4-6 months. It's of no value unless it lasts less than a year at the original high quality. Behind a POTENTIALLY AMAZING pot, you should feel like a maker. What is the guarantee for this item?
