These mudflaps are ideal for on-road driving. Installation was easy. Offers excellent protection against dirt on the road and on gravel roads. If that's all you do, I can't recommend them enough. However, if you are going off-road, use extreme caution. I was doing a traverse over a creek and because of the corners of the exit, one of the fenders caught and snagged on the ground. I would have thought it would bend or at least the attachment points would loosen and let go of the fender. They didn't. This caused the inner wings to bend. I had to go for body repairs. If you fall on the front, it's sure to do a lot more damage, especially in the rocker area. I wish they had designed it with at least some "fragile" fasteners or softer plastic that would give way. That's why I got a rating of 3, but more like a 2.5. Everything else about them is great.
